1. Besides common domesticated animals, what animal would you want as a pet.
Well, I am informed that genetically engineered miniature elephants or giraffes do not exist, to my chagrin.
So with that being said, I think a pet bonobo. Probably illegal and even immoral to own one but this is a fantasy exercise. They are adorable and very very closely related to humans and highly trainable. Sure a big mess and chaos would ensue but isn’t that the world we live in now anyway?
2. If animals could talk which one would be the rudest?
A mule. They have this tough working animal life and probably have a foul mouthed blue collar outlook on life.
3. Which one would be the sassiest?
An alpaca. Sassy with a South American Spanish accent.
4. What do you remember about your first pet?
The first family pet was a black dog named Rudy but I barely remember him. Then we had the stalwart family dog, a pure white Alaskan husky. A sweet super smart guard dog who watched us children to alert for any perceived threat.
5. What’s your best “unused” pet name for your next pet?
I have a few in the back pages of the Rolodex of my brain but pet names are pretty organic and are dictated by the actions and personality of the pet.

1) Black panther or flamingo.
2) Moose. They do not like anyone or anything in general, including their own kind. So if they spoke, well only vitriol would come out…and that is a good name for a band or bar, The Vitriolic Moose.
3) The goddamn peacock. They already strut around and make a sound like a baby screaming.
4) Kenai was a golden retriever, but he went away when I was young. From there on we had a siamese cat named Kitty, who lived to be 22.
5) Rondo.
1) raccoon those darn trash pandas can be so cute.
2) cats they would be rude AF. They don’t care about anything but themselves and shit is a box.
3) squirrels they would be back talking and sassing everyone and everything they could.
4) a black lab named Liza. She was a great dog. My dad had to carry her up & down the porch steps at the end as her hips were riddled with arthritis. We had to put her down when I was 12, she was 14.
5) I’ve got several. Chaz, Koho, Louie
