Friday Fives

1. Fast forward to your life in 5 years – what do you see?
Thinner, healthier, still working, perhaps at current job but maybe in a different role. Homeowner?

2. How much trouble were you in during your school days.
Not, much. I was a pretty good kid. Busy in school activities and in Boy Scouts, I kept my nose pretty clean throughout school.

3. How convinced are you that the sun will rise tomorrow?
Absolutely the sun will come up. When the end of the world comes, and it isn’t for a long time to come, there won’t be some magical dousing of the lights and then boom, darkness and nothing. When the end comes it will be a geological process taking many, many years and we will see it coming years in advance.

4. What spells adventure for you?
G. I. Joe – A real American hero!

5. If you could be invisible for the day, what would you do.
Obvious answer involves lockerrooms and dressing rooms but on a more grown up tangent, I think a first hand observation of a day in the Oval Office to see how fearless leader handles the crisis of the day.

  1. 1) Living in the mountains. junior is 5 years old and I am a few years from 50. My wife is more beautiful than ever. And I will be loving life and debt free…this is my reality should I choose to accept it…visualize world peas and all that junk.

    2) Not bad trouble, just “I need attention” trouble. It made me stronger & faster than a speeding bullet.

    3) I am convinced the sun will rise tomorrow and be hotter than it was a decade ago…thank you Al Gore.

    4) Travelling overseas without a plan…now that’s living in my book.

    5) One friggin’ day?!?! Nudeness or spying in on stupid politicians? Hmmmmm, I think i would just go screw with the people on my shit list. It’s not very long and I don’t want to inflict lasting damage or anything. But, man it would fun to screw with some people who are on the bad side of karma.

  2. !) In 5 years I see myself living happily in NYC although not in the same burglarized apartment we currently live in. I see myself working for a record label (the current one or something smaller) & continuing to have a blast.

@) In school I didn’t get into too much trouble, not for a lack of trying. I somehow pulled off the “bored suburban kid” look whilst wandering the streets of downtown Denver, higher than a kite on various substances.

#) I am completely convinced that the sun will come up tomorrow. It’s the weekend & no one is going to fuck that up for me. Not even that big gaseous ball in the sky!

$) NYC spells adventure to me.

%) I have no idea… I can people watch here unnoticed at any time. I think I would probably torment someone I didn’t care for (Ethan Hawke) or rob a large corporation.

  3. 1. In five years I see myself in a house in the foothills, debt-free with $$ for globe-trotting with the soon-to-be-husband. And with either more dogs and/or possibly a rug rat.

    2. I got in trouble fairly often, some serious, some the “you’re grounded for two weeks” variety.

    3. I fully expect the sun to come up tomorrow and torment me with 100+ temperatures.

    4. Bat country = adventure

    5. Given my current rather unfulfilling financial state, I would have to use my powers of invisibility for monetary gain.

  4. 1. In five years I hope to have gotten my acting career back on track, with a few decent indie roles behind me, and possibly some juicy supporting “character” bits in big-budget features. (Okay. . .I refuse to think about this today. . .I have so much career stress right now that I’m simply trying to get through the next 90 days, and then I’ll re-assess).

    2. I did a lot of bad things, but rarely got caught. Thus I was almost never in trouble.

    3. Is sun’s presence and the earth’s rotation a factor of physics, or is it merely our shared perception? Hmmm. . .I’m going with physics. Of course it will rise tomorrow. It will rise whether or not we all live or die. It’s going to continue to do so for billions of years.

    4. I’m going with Tony. Being far away from home and trying to stay amused, fed and safe is a huge adventure for me.

    5. I’m with Jenny on this one. Invisibility would probably allow me to perpetrate some sort of financial shenanigans that are impossible when visible.

  5. 1. fast forward to your life in 5 years – what do you see?

much the same, probably. However, we’ll be in a house somewhere wooded.

    2. How much trouble were you during your school days.

school days? Not too much. I had decent respect for authority and enjoyed sports… until I was a teenager.

    3. How convinced are you that the sun will rise tomorrow?

so convinced that I will waste no more time on this question. We need to get lamps, and generators STAT. I have been watching Lost all summer, so I know everything is relative… and the others are right around the corners at all times.

    4. What spells adventure for you?

    getting through the work week

    5. If you could be invisible for the day, what would you do.

probably spend most of the day looking at nekkid girls. Then, hopefully, I would secure a lot of cash and some cool electronics. Then, back to watching nekkid ladies.
