Text Messaging Tool

Text messaging is one of the cool things about all this fancy digital cell phone technology. But every seems to have a different carrier. How does one know how to page another? Have no fear, Yahoo is here with their super-duper all-in-one-text-messaging application. Just enter the phone number of your cell phone enabled pal, select the carrier if you know (or let Yahoo find it if you don’t) and voila, a cool little text page has been sent. I am fortunate to have unlimited text paging but some rate plans out there don’t and you may be sending a page to a friend, as well as a 10 or 15 cent charge, so I would ask first.
But hey, we all need yet another way to reach and touch each other, don’t we?

  1. text paging is ruining society and literacy as we know it. Yesterday the Rocky reported that last year 38% of adults did not read a book. Is that a society you want to live in? Not me! Good job Roy, why don’t you do your next piece on how to cheat your taxes.

See, now I am crying. Is that what you wanted?

  2. I haven’t paid my taxes for this year yet. Rather than cheating, I am ignoring.
And, I have read 14 books this year. The way I figure it, that is about 13 and a half more than you!

    So text away!

  3. Sure, text away… if you love terrorism. Every time you text, a terrorist wins. It is Verizons new plan to get a higher stake in the lucrative cell phone overage market. Ann Coulter is their spokesnut.

  4. If you want to get away with not paying your taxes, just remember 2 words when the I.R.S comes-a-knocking at your door: I Forgot!
