Cleaning up Prather’s mess after that big meal

Ahh, the Prath. She kind of phones it in this week with her Thanksgiving left overs. I am always a bit scared when she pulls out her “un tried” recipes folder. And this week is no exception.  I cannot deduce if she had actually tried these or just merely typed them.  And can we take a minute to talk about the ham – is that still a thing on turkey – day? I suppose it may be for the elderly, perhaps.
But if I recall she is from a cattle ranching family and I think they should put a big old bull down and have at him for the big meal. Wimping out again. But in other news, we do stay consistent in our attempts to used canned foods when ever possible for the mess that is the Chicken Casserole explained below (because what better way to use turkey leftovers than to make a chicken dish!). No cream of canned Shit this week, however, so that is a blessing. Is this woman a spokeswoman for the canned soup industry? Does she get a cream of crap soup stipend?

Regardless, here is “Prath:”

Do you have a link to a hometown newspaper food column? Do you know of any other local town writers that are trying to share their shelves of  untried recipes by typing them up and putting them in the local paper? If so , contact me at Info@majikwah.com, we would love to here from you.

  1. Given that this column ran two days after Thanksgiving, I was inclined to believe that she wrote it weeks earlier, and then mailed (or phoned) it in to the paper. And yes, they were disappointing recipes. They might even be edible.
