Friday Fives

New years style

1. What is your resolution this year, and don’t say to get in shape or eat better. Seriously, on one is buying that crap
I am going to get into better shape and eat better – heh. And also learn the banjo – really this time, I am gonna do it. .

2. What was your favorite thing that happened in 2009.
Time wise, I think it was buying my new laptop and building my desktop computer from scratch with Ubuntu. This has moved to hobbyist stuf as it has consumed a lot of time for no other reason than to just do it.

3. What was your least favorite thing … 2009
Same job, no promotion, no pay raise. Keep fingers crossed for 2010.

4. . Regarding Tiger > speak:
I think that when Tiger’s dad died, TW was lost and many of his issues of late wouldn’t have happened if dad was around to keep him grounded and focused. And, no one is perfect, even Mr. Perfection himself.

5. Regarding Michael Jackson > speak:
It is always sad when someone has to die for no real reason – the amount of drugs and little accountablility of those around him is so close to the reality surrounding Elvis it is spooky. On the other hand, apparently this drug that Michael had – some sort of anesthetic is basically easy to get and quite common in the medical community – it is like an instant nap and lets you get like a days sleep or something in about an hour. On New Year’s Day, that sounds like a grand thin.

  1. 1. I vow to ride on two wheels more. And to make better friends out here in La La Land.

    2. I saw my telescope launch into orbit on a Delta II rocket. Also, I got a super cool ring for my birthday.

    3. Boys.

    4. I agree with you Roy, jarring experiences wreak havoc on people who have, until then, led pretty happy lives. Not to excuse anything, I mean, at the end of the day it still sounds like he was a complete turd. Now it’s time to snap out of it.

    5. I just hope that the jokes would finally stop. Leave the poor strange man alone already.

  2. 1.) On One is buying that crap. I am On One. I buy crap.

2.) Other than having my nipples tweaked during one of President Obama’s many speeches–hey, it’s better than a shiver running up my leg, at least, I think so–moving to the tropics has got to top the list.

3.) Experiencing the Dirty Monkey three times after returning from Cabo, MX.

4.) Tiger Woods is a Disney automaton that blew its fuse.

5.) Michael Jackson is a Disney automaton that blew its fuse and had its face remade to look like a squashed plastic rabbit in the road. His music is so good in that wonderful world of Disney kind of way that we must have a national holiday celebrating his musical awesomeness! Then we can have coins and dollars with his image on them! Then national tattooing! Then the removal of all those naughty penises and vaginas!

  3. 1. I’m not big on resolutions, but I do have to find a new job in 2010. It’s not necessarily going to be my choice, but a must be done.

    2. Tough one. High points. . . my trips to the Netherlands and Kauai. And my S4 has been a real nice addition.

    3. Probably my job. The difficulties I’ve had at work definitely bled into the rest of my life and made 2009 one that was, to quote Queen Elizabeth II, “not a year on which I shall look back with undiluted pleasure.”

    4. Tigger is just a self-absorbed scamp. Even *I* couldn’t invent an anthem so self-aggrandizing. To wit: “The wonderful thing about Tiggers, is Tiggers are wonderful things. Their tops are made of rubbers.
The bottoms are made of springs. They’re
bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!!! The wonderful thing about Tiggers is I’m the only one.”

    5. Crotch grabber, singer, dancer, songwriter, recording artist, boy fondler, drug addict. He definitely stayed busy.

  4. 1)I will do whatever the F I wnat this year you watch it could happen.
    2)Sex
    3)Didn’t win the Powerball
4)Rich guy has it all fucks up. The end.
