1. What types of board games do you like to play, if any?
Tvial Pursuit kinda things. I also like Scattergories, Scrabble and Scotland Yard.
2. How often do you play board games?
A couple of times a year at family gatherings.
3. What is your absolutely favorite game?
Card games – especially Pinochle. I can rock Pinochle.
4. Describe your Monopoly strategy.
Hmmm, tough one. I am generally a buy and conquor. Buy as much and as often as you can and spread the wealth around the board so you are always getting some cash flow.
5. Do you feel that board games are becoming obsolete with the rise in computer and video gaming?
Yes. It is difficult to get a group of four folks to turn off, reset and reassemble at the dining room table.

1) Everything from Life to scrabble to Trivial Pursuits
2) Not enough, anyone interested?
3) Hide the salami
4) Rule the world and crush the little people.
5) Yes for the younger generations. No for older farty-type people.
1.) I don’t play board games. Board games are for losers who aren’t connected to our modern, computer-controlled and cell phone obsessed culture.
2.) I’m not a loser, therefore I don’t play board games often. But I’ll play a board game on my computer!
3.) Live Gopher Up My Ass is always fun.
4.) Since I’m not a loser and don’t play Monopoly, my strategy would be simple: burn the board game and turn on my computer or answer my cell phone.
5.) Duh! Just like books. Books are for losers too. I think we should burn all the board games and all the books. I think we should burn all the people who play board games and read books. I’m so happy our country is moving toward socialism and mind-control! I hate George Orwell, that rat-bastard! He used to play board games and he read books! But I bet he never played Live Gopher Up My Ass!
1. i heart scrabble (although snowball is currently kicking my ass at online scrabble. i don’t heart losing)
2. upon occasion
3. i used to love a card game called pepper, but i don’t recall how to play
4. railroads
5. sadly, yes
1. Life, Sorry, Backgammon, Scatagories, Trivial Pursuit, Cranium, really, I’m pretty much a sucker for any game (don’t play Chinese Checkers with June though, it’s pretty much cut throat.)
2. Not nearly enough. We keep planning a game night, but it usually ends up in booze and movies. (We are sooo freakin’ lazy).
3. Does hide and go seek count? You know how I like to stalk prey. Otherwise Gin or Pinochle are on the top of my list.
4. It’s all about Marvin Gardens, cheating, and in the modified version, landing on free parking.
5. I’m not sure. In my recent experience, put two 6th Grade boys in front of a chess board, and you have quiet, glorious quiet, for quite a long while.
1)Any but I truly enjoy trivia games
2)not often enough but after a good day of skiing there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting down with a nice cup of coco and playing scrabble
3)RISK
4)buy everything you possibly can and have no mercy for the weak or the poor!
5)yes because they require social interaction.
1.) I like Stratego, chess and Risk. trivia games are also great.
2.) Not often enough; most of our friends either hate them or can’t focus long enough.
3.) Hmmmm……probably Risk.
4.) Buy alot of stuff and make lots o’ deals. the rulebook in my house is open to a great amount of interpretation.
5.) Absolutely, although I do feel that you can still get a sense of community with some video games. Scott and I have whiled away hours blowing up aliens into gobs of extraterrestrial goo while discussing life in general.
