\nChelsea songs, crafted rhyming prose
\nPuttering around the afternoon waiting
\nFor springtime and the season’s rebirth
\nKnowing it isn’t the weather’s pattern painting
\nMaking me anxious, but scourched Earth
\nIntense boredom replacing my life’s work.<\/p>\n

I hunt and peck the pages of ads
\nContemplate the hacks and macks
\nSoulessly offering positions for my wallet.
\nTruck driver, reciptionist, nurse, taxi hacks
\nA wage earning conduit<\/p>\n

The resumes sent, faxed, stamped and wired
\nMaking relevant the paper shuffle
\nWays to meet the goal, avoiding the drunken stumble
\nAt the traffic intersection before I tumble.<\/p>\n
