The Last Blog Post from Lono

Lono, a frequent commenter on this blog, passed away from Leukemia in March. His celebration of life is tomorrow, and in concert with that, his wife has posted his final blog post, with a brief introduction from me.
Take a read, if you would please.

I didn’t know Lono at all, except here on the Friday Fives when he would post his answers (?) to the five questions. Not knowing him made his answers (?) even better, because all of the blank space that we fill in about people we only know from some miniscule part of theirs came from those answers (?). So much of his Friday Five answers (?) was that of a madman, a poet, an “aw, fuck it” kind of person.
I add the parenthetical question mark to all of the mentions of his answers, because they mostly weren’t answers, but tangential ramblings of freeform thoughts that sometimes made great sense, sometimes made no sense and sometimes included nuggets of profundity.
All of this is to say, for a guy I didn’t know but a little, thanks for the moments I got, safe home and hope to meet you for reals at the dog park place in the hereafter. And, say hi to Will, i think I’d like to meet him someday too.
