1. What is your greatest extravagance?
Top shelf gin and expensive olive oil.
2. Which living person do you most admire?
Joe Biden. Grandpa Joe is a pretty good dude.
3. What is your favorite occupation?
Elementary classroom teachers. They are doing the Lord’s work.
4. If you could change one thing about your household, what would it be?
Adding a pet. Probably a cat.
5. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Floating in a swimming pool with all the time in the world.
1. An ongoing supply of champagne and bourbon.
2. Everyone is flawed mind you, but I could choose either Obama and not feel bad about my choice.
3. I’ve always liked lawyers. Most of them hate their jobs and have substance abuse issues, but boy are they smart, glib, and able to dissect an argument faster than anyone. I would have been good at being a lawyer. Plus I hate working and have substance abuse issues. I’m really just one exam away from being one.
4. The list in my head is rather long. Let’s say more drawer space in my kitchen. In its remodeled state it has all of THREE drawers. Silverware, knives, and one for foils and wraps. The rest is cleverly displayed on the gadget wall (which I upcycled so I feel good about it).
5. Visiting art museums. Some of my most powerful memories are from art museums.
1) Having a second home in the mountains.
2) Colin Powell – I wish he had run for President and kicked the current guy’s ass back in 2016.
3) Marine biologist – I always wanted to be one, but the schooling was not to my liking.
4) Stairs are becoming more of a hassle. I like the separation of levels, but our ranch house in BV shows me the joys of not having stairs to trip up or fall down.
5) Low density of people and things and mountains.
1) My watch. It was a gift to myself for getting to where I am now.
2) Pete Buttigieg, that guy is brilliant, articulate compassionate and has been through things I can’t even fathom. I respect the shit outta him.
3) older rock stars, It’s just got to be exhausting being up late and in the road all the time.
4) I’d love a self cleaning house. But really I’m a fan if a good ol ranch style house.
5) Comfy chair, hot coffee, snax and starting a good book.
