1. What was your favorite breakfast during childhood?
As a kid we always had farm fresh cream and eggs delivered. Quite often, so cereal we would have sweet cream the consistency of sour cream that we would plop atop our breakfast cereal and wash it down with orange juice. mmmmmmmm.
2. Why is a muffin considered a legitimate breakfast option but cake isn’t?
Blame Queen Victoria. When there is a weird menu selection that I can never understand I usually imagine was some odd favorite/standard from Queen Victoria.
3. What beverage do you typically drink with each of the 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)?
Breakfast: Coffee. Lunch: Iced tea. Dinner: A nice gin-based cocktail.
4. What is your favorite grownup breakfast cereal? And as a child?
Cheerios with some yogurt. As a kid, tough one but probably Sugar Smacks.
5. What’s the greatest breakfast food invention of all time?
The Breakfast Burrito. Yumm-O
1. Any time there was bacon involved, I was happy. The smell of frying bacon and brewing coffee in the morning takes me back to my early childhood. In the summers I’d wake up at 6:00 to hang out with my dad before he went to work. I’d “snitch” bits of bacon and potato from his plate. When we left for work, I’d go back to bed.
2. I believe it’s because a muffin is technically a “quick bread” and is intended to be eaten while hot. A cake is much finer textured, and not intended to be eaten warm.
3. Breakfast: Coffee. Lunch: Water. Dinner: Beer.
4. Now it would be Cinnamon Toast Crunch. As a kid it was probably Cap’n Crunch.
5. One word: Croissandwich®.
1) A good onion bagel, egg, bacon & cheese Sammy.

5) I concur. The breakfast burrito is a thing of beauty. However living on the gulf coast they have no fucking clue about such things. They have not an ounce of good green chili in sight. Their idea of a good breakfast burrito is fucking Sonic! Oh what I would give for a good breakfast burrito smothered in good green chili. ????????
